Governor Ayade Releases COVID-19 Ford Vehicle to Peace Corps As Awareness Campaign Thickens

The governor of Cross River State, Senator Prof. Ben Ayade has released a Covid-19 branded Ford Ranger to the Peace Corps of Nigeria, Cross River State Command today April, 23, 2020.

This vehicle is meant to compliment the good work the Peace Corps is doing in the State. Recall that, the noble organization had deployed her officers across the State to enforce Government directive of no mask, no movement since April 7th when the operations began in the State.

The State Commandant, Patriot (Dr.) Okweche Dominic Odey who received the car through the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Betta Edu who also doubled as the Chairman of Covid-19 Taskforce in the State, thanked the supersonic and digital governor for the show of love and trust accorded the Peace Corps in the State.

The State Commandant applauded the Commissioner for health for her proactive drive in ensuring Government directive on Covid-19 is carried by all across the State.

The governor has specifically assigned Peace Corps to man some major borders in conjunction with other securities in the State.

The Commandant said, it is a call for more commitment which will be exemplified by the operations and gallantry of his men in the field.
